Meet Ben “Shaq” Griffin
From a young age, Ben Griffin, better known around the tracks as Shaq’s Speedway Pics, had a passion for motorsport, growing up around the famous Lismore Speedway and local karting scene. After years involved in sport and speedway culture, Ben found his place behind the camera, first working within the speedway community before becoming an accredited Speedway Australia and Karting Australia photographer.Inspired by some of the best motorsport photographers in the industry, Ben built Shaq’s Speedway Pics from humble beginnings into a recognised name around grassroots motorsport. Over the past decade, he has become a familiar face at Lismore Speedway, Lismore Kart Club and tracks across Australia, capturing the moments, people and memories that make local racing special.
