Licence & age groups
Drivers need the correct Karting Australia licence before practicing or racing.01
Cadet
6–12 years oldFor young drivers starting their karting journey. Restrictions apply for six-year-old drivers.

Junior
12–15 years oldFor junior racers developing their skills and gaining race experience.

Senior
15+ years oldFor older drivers, with no maximum age limit for getting involved.
